Have you ever felt like you want to take time out to have some creative fun? This is what I did a couple of weeks ago. At the kind invitation of Alec Taylor, originator of Multi-Talent workshops, I took part in one of his singing /performance workshops.
It was a day of freedom to be part of a ‘
band’, designing our poster and rehearsing 3 songs for our performance in front of the rest of the group in the late afternoon. Alec had provided us with props, instruments mikes and karaoke equipment, and we had a ball!
The recipe was simple, but what made the difference was Alec’s warm enthusiasm and appreciation of everyone’s efforts, and the feedback at the end of the day reflected the confidence that each person had gained.
